The PSAS UK Working Group recently secured funding from the University of Liverpool Institute for Population Health Research and Knowledge Exchange to hold the first meeting of the PSAS Global Collaborators.
Delegates from across the world, including Italy, Brazil, France, Spain, and The Netherlands, attended the event at The University of Liverpool on the 5th and 6th June. The Global Collaborative Group were updated on the PSAS and its development as a global tool by Dr Vicky Fallon and Sergio A. Silverio, followed by a presentation from Dr Paul Christiansen on appropriate psychometric practices for the PSAS. The group also heard from a number of postgraduate students working on the PSAS, including Sian M. Davies, Semra Worrall, and Olivia Pike, before engaging in a workshop on future directions for the measurement of postpartum anxiety cross-culturally.
